Supervision
I am an accredited supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. I offer professional consultations and supervision for psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors who are interested in deepening their reflective practice and/or wish to learn about psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I aim to support a reflective space that allows us to collaboratively explore and feel into your therapeutic practice. Together, we will consider the psychological and relational dynamics that emerge through your work, understand their significance, and how this may inform your therapeutic practice. It is my hope that our time working together will not only deepen your understanding of your patients, but also support you to cultivate your own voice and approach to caring for those who are complexly suffering. For some, this may also include learning to bear the uncertainty and ambiguity inherent in this work or to hold the inevitable missteps we take with greater compassion and understanding.
I have a particular interest in supporting early career psychotherapists as well as clinicians interested in child and adolescent psychotherapy. Broadly speaking however, my clinical interests include emotional and interpersonal difficulties that emerge in response to loss (including non-death losses), trauma, neglect, and the many ways in which this can manifest across the lifespan and within the consulting room.
My current fee for Clinical Supervision: $180 (60 minutes).
Please be aware that I do not provide supervision for psychologists in a 4+2 or 5+1 internship program.
